Govee launches a major Back to School Sale with discounts of up to 45% on its smart lighting range, highlighting new features like LuminBlend+ and circadian rhythm automation for its floor lamps.
Govee is using its Back to School Sale to push a broad range of smart lighting at lower prices, with discounts of up to 45% and entry-level deals starting at $64. Among the most notable offers is the Lantern Floor Lamp at $109.99, a price that matches Amazon and sits below its usual $130 list price. According to 9to5Toys, the sale also includes the Table Lamp 2, the RGBICW Smart Floor Lamp Basic and the TV Backlight 3 Lite.
The Lantern Floor Lamp is one of Govee’s newer floor lights, introduced in May alongside two other models. The company says the lamp uses LuminBlend+ technology to produce a softer, multi-ring halo effect through a touch-sensitive silicone shade. It is rated at up to 1,400 lumens and is designed to cover spaces of up to 30 square metres, which makes it suitable for a dorm room, bedroom or compact study area.
Govee’s own product listing says the lamp offers a colour temperature range from 1,000K to 10,000K, allowing users to shift from warm candlelight tones to cooler daylight settings. Control options include touch input, voice assistants and app-based operation, with compatibility for Alexa, Google Assistant, Matter and SmartThings. The company also lists 100-plus preset scenes, DIY colour modes and 16 music-synchronised lighting effects.
The sale comes as Govee continues to expand its smart lighting line-up with products that combine decorative lighting with broader home-automation support. In separate launch coverage, the company said the Lantern Floor Lamp and the Floor Lamp 3 both include AI Lighting Bot 2.0 and DaySync, a feature intended to automate lighting schedules around circadian rhythms. That broader strategy suggests Govee is positioning its lamps not only as ambient décor but also as connected devices for routine use across major smart-home platforms.
