Google launches conditional bundle deal for Pixel 11 and Pixel Watch 5 preorder as new devices promise major upgrades

Ahead of the August 20 release, Google offers a $130 discount on the Pixel 11 and Pixel Watch 5 bundle through Amazon, encouraging consumers to upgrade to its latest ecosystem in one purchase amid significant hardware enhancements.

Google’s latest phone-and-watch promotion has arrived just as the Pixel 11 family and Pixel Watch 5 move from announcement to preorder. Amazon is offering the pair together for $1,168.99, a saving of $130 on the combined list price, as Google pushes buyers towards a two-device upgrade ahead of the August 20 release date.

The deal works by discounting the Pixel Watch 5 when customers preorder the Pixel 11 during the stated promotional window. Retail terms say the offer runs from August 12 to August 27, while stocks last, and buyers who return the phone without returning the watch can be charged for the discount. That makes the bundle more of a conditional preorder incentive than a simple price cut.

The timing matters because Google’s new handset range is not a minor refresh. According to Digital Camera World, the Pixel 11 line includes four models, with the standard Pixel 11 positioned as the entry point and the Pro, Pro XL and Pro Fold variants carrying larger sensors, brighter displays and more ambitious zoom options. The base model is said to feature a 48MP main camera with improved light sensitivity and 30x Super Zoom, while the broader range runs on Google’s Tensor G6 chip and arrives with Android 17 and Gemini features.

The Pixel Watch 5 has also been pitched as a more capable health-focused wearable than its predecessor. TechRadar says the watch adds a longer battery life of up to 40 hours, dual-band GPS, satellite emergency messaging and new health tools, including breathing emergency detection and blood pressure monitoring. Android Central reported that the watch keeps the same core design, but brings a faster Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip, more storage and Wear OS 7. In that context, the bundle is aimed at buyers who want to step into Google’s newest hardware ecosystem in one move rather than upgrade piecemeal.
