Perixx Computer GmbH introduces the PERIMICE-405CR, a small, portable wired mouse with USB Type-C connectivity designed for users on the go, available through various online retailers with a focus on simplicity and portability.
Perixx Computer GmbH has added a compact wired mouse to its line-up with the launch of the PERIMICE-405CR, a USB Type-C model aimed at users who work away from a desk. According to the company, the mouse is being sold through Amazon, Rakuten, Yahoo Shopping and Perixx’s own website, although it has not disclosed a price.
The device is designed for portability rather than elaborate features. Perixx says it measures about 85mm wide, 48mm deep and 31mm high, weighs about 41g and uses a retractable cable that can extend to 700mm. The USB-C connection means it can plug directly into newer laptops and tablets without an adapter, while plug-and-play support removes the need for driver installation.
Perixx has kept the specification set deliberately basic. The mouse has three buttons, optical tracking and 1000 DPI sensitivity, which should be adequate for routine tasks such as web browsing, email and spreadsheets. It is finished in black ABS plastic, supports Windows 7 and later plus macOS and carries CE, FCC and RoHS certification. Perixx also says there is a non-retractable version, the PERIMICE-405C, for users who prefer a fixed cable.
