TECNO has debuted the Watch Neo in the Philippines, offering a high-quality AMOLED display, AI-generated watch faces, and comprehensive health tracking at a budget-friendly price, aiming to disrupt the entry-level smartwatch market.
TECNO has introduced the Watch Neo in the Philippines, positioning it as an affordable smartwatch with a premium display and a broad set of health and connectivity features. According to TECNO’s product page, the watch uses a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with a 466 x 466-pixel resolution and peak brightness of 1,000 nits, while its zinc alloy frame, high-hardness glass and 2.5D effects are intended to give it a more polished finish than many entry-level wearables.
The Watch Neo also supports AI-generated watch faces, allowing users to create designs from text prompts or turn their own photos into stylised backgrounds. TECNO says the watch handles Bluetooth calling through an integrated microphone and speaker, and it can display alerts for calls, messages and compatible apps. Health tracking covers heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep and stress monitoring around the clock, alongside more than 100 sports modes. Power comes from a 300mAh battery, which TECNO says can last up to 10 days under typical use and as long as 40 days on standby, with charging handled by a magnetic wireless dock. The device is also rated IP68, meaning it is designed to resist dust and survive brief submersion in water up to 1.5 metres.
In the Philippines, YugaTech reported that TECNO has priced the Watch Neo at PHP 4,499, with a promotional online price of PHP 3,499 through the company’s official Shopee Mall store. That puts it in the lower end of the smartwatch market, where buyers are often weighing screen quality, battery life and basic fitness functions rather than advanced app ecosystems.
