L&L Lively Life revives wired audio with versatile J1V earphones amid wireless market resistance

L&L Lively Life launches the J1V wired earphones on Rakuten Ichiba, blending traditional connectivity with flexible device compatibility and environmental awareness, signalling a renewed interest in wired audio options.

L&L Lively Life said on 14 August that it has started selling the J1V wired earphones on Rakuten Ichiba, positioning the product as a practical option for users who want to avoid Bluetooth pairing and charging. The company argues that renewed interest in wired audio reflects frustration with setup steps and battery life, even as wireless earphones remain dominant in many markets.

The J1V uses a USB Type-C connection, which means it can plug directly into compatible smartphones, tablets and laptops. It also ships with a USB-A conversion adaptor, allowing use with older desktop and notebook computers that still rely on standard USB-A ports. That makes the model more flexible for work meetings, home study and video playback across different devices.

According to the product information, the earphones are designed for clear sound, voice calls and online meetings, and they include a built-in microphone. L&L Lively Life says the open ear-cuff style is intended to let users hear surrounding sounds more naturally, which may suit office use, walking and other everyday situations where awareness of the environment matters.

The company also highlights durability and comfort as key selling points. It says the cable is built to withstand pulling and repeated bending, while the soft silicone material and ear hook design are meant to improve fit and reduce discomfort during longer use. The package includes S, M and L ear tips. The product weighs about 18g, uses ABS and TPE materials and has a cable length of roughly 113cm.

L&L Lively Life, which was established in February 2015 and is based in Tachikawa, Tokyo, has developed from a small shop into a broader consumer electronics business. Its range now spans smartwatches, earphones, smartphone accessories, small appliances and outdoor and sports products, according to the company’s corporate information.
