Google has begun pre-orders for the Pixel Watch 5 in India, offering new health features, AI-driven software enhancements, and up to 48 hours of battery life across two case sizes, with options for no-cost EMI payments.
Google’s Pixel Watch 5 has gone on sale in India for pre-order, arriving in two case sizes, 41mm and 45mm, with the larger model carrying the higher price. The watch was shown at the Made by Google event in India on 13 August 2026, and Google is offering no-cost EMI options alongside the launch. The device is available in four finishes: Polished Silver, Champagne Gold, Satin Pyrite Aluminium and Matte Black Aluminium.
The design remains familiar. The watch keeps a round face, a prominent crown and a silicone strap, with the sensor array positioned on the underside. Android Central reported that the Pixel Watch 5 is largely an iterative update rather than a ground-up redesign, retaining the same general form, domed AMOLED display and recycled aluminium chassis as the previous model. Google has also kept the 41mm and 45mm options, reinforcing that this generation is aimed more at software and feature refinement than at a new industrial design.
That strategy is evident in the software. Google says the watch is built around Gemini Intelligence, and Android Central reported that Wear OS 7 brings AI-driven widgets and more personalised watch experiences. The company has also positioned the Pixel Watch 5 as a health and safety device, with features such as blood pressure trends, insulin resistance monitoring and breathing-related alerts among the headline additions. Battery performance is another area Google is using to sharpen the pitch. Android Central reported similar gains and said the larger model can stretch to 48 hours with Battery Saver enabled. The watch also supports standard Android pairing through the Google Pixel app, and Google lists compatibility with most Android 8.0 or newer devices, underlining its broad fit within the Android ecosystem.
