Pova’s AI Buds Pro in India offer sophisticated features including hybrid active noise cancellation, AI-powered recording, real-time translation across 78 languages, and dual-device Bluetooth pairing, positioning them as a productivity and audio accessory innovation.
Pova has launched the AI Buds Pro in India, adding a feature set that goes beyond standard wireless audio. According to Gadgets 360, the true wireless earphones combine up to 48dB hybrid active noise cancellation with an eight-microphone array, a Voice Pickup Unit and dual-device connectivity. The company is positioning them as a productivity-focused accessory as much as an audio product, with AI-backed recording, transcription and summary functions built in.
The earbuds are priced at Rs. 14,999, although Tecno’s Pova has introduced them at Rs. 12,499 for a limited period. Buyers can also use a Rs. 1,000 bank discount and no-cost EMI options. Sales are scheduled to begin in India on August 22 at 12pm through Amazon India and Flipkart, according to the report.
A distinctive element is the dual-tone charging case, which includes a red Quick Note button. Pova says this lets users begin audio recording directly from the earbuds, with up to four hours of local storage available for recordings. The AI Meeting Summary feature can transcribe conversations and generate summaries, while real-time translation is supported across 78 languages. The company also says users retain control over their recordings, transcripts and summaries.
On the hardware side, the Pova AI Buds Pro support Bluetooth pairing with two devices at once and are claimed to offer up to 40 hours of total playback with the charging case. The case charges over USB Type-C and also supports Qi wireless charging. The earbuds carry an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, placing them alongside a growing number of premium TWS models that now compete on software features as much as acoustics. In the wider market, rivals such as Google’s Pixel Buds Pro emphasise noise cancellation and device integration, while more affordable models from OnePlus, Noise and CMF focus on value, battery life and driver size.
