MobileAction has launched an MCP server that provides AI assistants with real-time access to app marketing data, simplifying analysis for growth teams and developers by eliminating manual data exports and enabling conversational queries.
MobileAction has launched an MCP server for all API customers, giving AI assistants direct access to live app marketing data rather than forcing teams to rely on uploaded exports. The company says the aim is to remove a manual step that has become increasingly awkward as growth teams have moved more of their day-to-day analysis into conversational AI tools.
MCP, short for Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that allows AI applications to call external data sources as tools. In MobileAction’s implementation, the server acts as a translation layer between an assistant and the company’s API, turning a plain-language request into a live API call. The company says nothing is stored or cached and that responses follow the same path as REST requests.
According to MobileAction’s documentation, the API already covers app-store and Google Play data, ad intelligence, dashboard functions and CPP intelligence, including keyword rankings, app metadata and ad creatives. The new MCP server exposes that catalogue to AI tools, so users can ask for rankings, reviews, competitors’ creatives or Apple Ads data without writing query syntax or exporting files first.
MobileAction also says the MCP route uses the same API key, the same credit balance and the same endpoint pricing as REST access. Each response shows how much has been spent, what remains and when the allowance resets. The company argues that this makes the server suitable for both ad hoc analysis and larger workflows built around internal bots, agentic tools and reporting assistants.
The company positions the server for app growth marketers, developers and data teams that already use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini. It says setup is limited to adding the connector details supplied by an account manager, after which users can ask questions such as where an app ranks for a keyword, which advertisers are gaining impression share, or how many credits remain. Vinkius, which offers a separate MobileAction MCP integration, says its version includes 12 tools and is designed for fast deployment into AI agents including Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. Markifact and Zapier have also begun offering MCP servers for marketing and workflow automation, underlining how quickly the protocol is spreading across AI-driven operations.
