Brook Gaming has launched the Sniper 2, a versatile keyboard-and-mouse converter supporting a wide range of platforms including the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, aiming to unify control setups for players across PC, console, and mobile devices.
Brook Gaming has announced the global release of the Sniper 2, a keyboard-and-mouse converter aimed at players who want to use PC-style controls on console and mobile platforms. The Taiwanese accessories maker said the device is intended to remove the friction between different input systems and give users a single setup across a broad range of hardware.
According to the company’s announcement and product pages, the Sniper 2 supports PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and mobile devices running iOS or Android. Brook also says the unit is compatible with a new Nintendo Switch 2, and that it works with wired and 2.4GHz wireless keyboards and mice from brands including Razer, Logitech, ZOWIE and ROG.
The hardware is built around a compact unit with a full-colour status display and adjustable RGB lighting. Brook says the companion Sniper 2 app for iOS and Android lets users tune DPI, adjust X/Y sensitivity, remap buttons, set macros and change stick deadzones to reduce drift. The app also offers downloadable configuration profiles and a way for players to share settings.
Brook’s FAQ and product information add that the adapter is designed for plug-and-play use without a PC, while also providing firmware updates, keyboard-specific modes and support guidance for devices that fail to respond. The company recommends an external 5V power supply in some cases to maintain stable performance. The launch fits Brook Gaming’s longer pitch that gaming accessories should not be tied to a single platform, a message the company has repeated across its recent product material.
