Tecno launches the Pova AI Buds Pro in India, featuring on-device AI for voice tasks, real-time translation in 78 languages, and advanced audio capabilities, positioning them as a portable transcription and communication tool.
Tecno has introduced the Pova AI Buds Pro in India, positioning the earbuds as a voice-first product built around on-device artificial intelligence rather than standard audio features alone. According to Tecno’s announcement, the model is designed to handle tasks such as voice note capture, call summaries and spoken translations, with support for real-time translation in 78 languages.
The company says the charging case includes a dedicated quick-note button and onboard storage, allowing users to record audio without reaching for a phone. Tecno also claims the earbuds can record continuously for up to four hours, a figure that places the product closer to a portable transcription tool than a conventional true wireless headset.
Beyond the AI functions, Tecno lists four microphones per earbud, hybrid active noise cancellation of up to 48dB, LHDC support, Hi-Res Audio certification, dual-device pairing and an IP55 rating for resistance to dust and water. The battery life is rated at up to 40 hours with the case, which also supports wireless charging. Tecno has priced the earbuds at Rs 14,999, or about $155.
