Amazon slashes Anker Soundcore P20i earbuds to under $20, highlighting budget appeal for bass and battery life

Anker’s Soundcore Life P20i true wireless earbuds are now available on Amazon for just $19.98, offering affordable audio with long battery life, water resistance, and customisation options, appealing to budget-conscious consumers.

Amazon is offering Anker’s Soundcore Life P20i true wireless earbuds for as little as $19.98, down from the listed regular price of $39.99, according to Hip2Save. The deal positions the model as a low-cost option for buyers seeking simple wireless listening with an emphasis on battery life and bass output.

Anker says the P20i uses 10mm dynamic drivers and Bluetooth 5.3, with up to 30 hours of total playtime when the charging case is included. The company also says a 10-minute charge can add two hours of listening time, while the Soundcore app offers 22 EQ presets for sound customisation. The earbuds are rated IPX5 for water resistance and include two microphones for call handling.

Independent testing paints a mixed but broadly pragmatic picture. TechGearLab found the P20i comfortable and affordable, with decent passive noise isolation, but said the sound and microphones were better suited to spoken content than more demanding music listening. RTINGS likewise described the model, sold as P20i or P25i depending on retailer, as a budget-focused earbud with app-based EQ and a Game Mode, but without higher-end extras such as multi-device pairing.

That pattern is reflected in aggregated review scores. Criticaster places the P20i at 66 out of 100 across four expert reviews, with praise for value, comfort, battery life and water resistance, alongside recurring criticism of the bass-heavy tuning and modest microphone quality. In that context, the current Amazon pricing makes the earbuds most compelling for shoppers who want an inexpensive everyday pair rather than a feature-rich premium model.
