Lenovo’s IdeaPad Slim 3 14IRH10, now available in France at a significant discount, features a 14-inch OLED panel that stands out in the budget laptop segment, targeting students seeking quality and portability.
Lenovo’s IdeaPad Slim 3 14IRH10 is being sold in France as a discounted back-to-school option for buyers who value display quality as much as price. According to Frandroid, the laptop is listed at €619.99 on Cdiscount, down from a recommended price of €899.99, and its main selling point is a 14-inch OLED panel that should deliver stronger contrast and more faithful colour than many rivals in the same bracket.
The machine is aimed at students and other users who need something light enough to carry every day. Frandroid says it weighs 1.29kg and measures 31.44 x 22.21 x 1.69/1.79cm, making it easy to slip into a bag. The same report notes, however, that the 50Wh battery may be modest for a full day away from a charger, so portability comes with a practical compromise.
On paper, the rest of the specification is sensible rather than exceptional. Lenovo’s product reference for the IdeaPad Slim 3 14IRH10 lists 13th-generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 options, with memory configurations of up to 24GB DDR5-4800 and dual M.2 2242 PCIe 4.0 x4 storage slots supporting up to 1TB each. Listings for the model also identify the Core i5-13420H, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, while confirming that some versions ship without a pre-installed operating system.
The screen is the main reason to consider it. Frandroid says the 14-inch WUXGA OLED panel has a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, 400 nits of brightness and full DCI-P3 coverage, which should suit photo viewing, streaming and general multimedia work. The trade-off is clear: the panel is limited to 60Hz, graphics are handled by Intel UHD Graphics, and this is not a serious gaming laptop. Connectivity is broadly practical for a compact model, with USB-A, USB-C with Power Delivery and DisplayPort support, HDMI, a combo audio jack and an SD card reader.
