Leaked listings suggest Honor’s new Turbo 5G is nearing its release, promising a more compact, Snapdragon-based alternative to the Win Turbo, with a mix of high-end display and IP69K water resistance.
Honor has surfaced a new Turbo 5G model on AliExpress, suggesting the handset is nearing release after the earlier debut of the Win Turbo in China. The new listing points to a closely related device, but with different internals and a design that appears to borrow heavily from the X80 Pro Max.
According to the listing, the Honor Turbo 5G uses a 6.79-inch AMOLED display with a 1,200 x 2,640 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to run MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, and it carries IP69K rating for protection against dust and high-pressure water exposure. The battery is quoted at 8,560mAh, with 80W wired charging.
Under the bonnet, the phone is listed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Camera hardware appears modest by current standards, with a 50-megapixel main rear camera, a 5-megapixel ultrawide unit and a 16-megapixel front camera. An optical fingerprint sensor is also included.
The colour range shown on the listing includes black, green and orange, and the device is reportedly due to go on sale on 17 August. That makes it a smaller-battery, Snapdragon-based alternative to the earlier Win Turbo, which launched in China with a 10,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite chip, and a starting price of 3,299 yuan, according to Gizmochina and other outlets covering the Chinese release.
