FCNT introduces the arrows Alpha2, blending tough durability, powerful performance, and eco-friendly materials, with wider availability and exclusive colours through major Japanese carriers and online channels.
FCNT will begin selling its new arrows Alpha2 from 27 August, widening distribution beyond NTT Docomo to include Docomo shops and online channels, ahamo, the au Online Shop, KDDI-run stores, au Style and Rakuten Mobile. The handset will come in Indigo, White, Red and Blue Green, although the Red and Blue Green versions will be sold only through the Docomo Online Shop, according to the company’s announcement and reporting from Japanese technology outlets.
At the centre of the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Extreme chipset, paired with a 6.4-inch LTPO display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,000 nits. FCNT is also using a 5,370mAh silicon-carbon battery for the first time in the arrows range, with the company claiming up to two days of use and a full charge in about 40 minutes. That places the Alpha2 in the growing class of high-end Android phones that try to balance speed with battery efficiency.
Durability remains one of the clearest selling points. FCNT says the phone meets IP6X dust resistance and IPX6, IPX8 and IPX9 water-resistance ratings, and that it complies with 23 MIL-standard tests. The company also says the display uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and is built to better withstand drops, including a fall from 1.8 metres onto concrete. Gizmochina reported earlier that the handset is designed to survive demanding conditions while still supporting underwater photography in fresh water.
The camera system centres on a 50.3-megapixel main sensor using Sony’s LYTIA 710, alongside a 49.9-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a front camera. FCNT says on-device AI can adjust exposure, colour and shutter speed according to the scene, while the phone also supports 4K video at 60 frames per second and HDR recording. Beyond imaging, the Alpha2 adds FCNT’s arrows AI for transcription, summaries, notification sorting and conversational search, with access to services including Perplexity, Copilot and Google Gemini. The company is also positioning the device as a sustainability product, saying recycled materials account for about 60% of the weight of parts excluding electrical and electronic components.
