Cubot has moved its KINGKONG Dura rugged phone into global sale, positioning it for users who need a handset that can survive demanding conditions without giving up a removable battery. The company says it will sell the device in a bundle with two batteries and a dedicated charging dock, allowing one cell to be in use while the other is charging. That setup is aimed at people working outdoors, travelling, or spending long periods away from mains power.
The model sits within Cubot’s KINGKONG line of toughened smartphones and carries IP68 and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, together with MIL-STD-810H certification for harsher physical conditions. The brand also highlights an integrated torch for camping and low-light use. These are not minor extras on a regular phone; they are part of a design intended for field work, outdoor activity and environments where durability matters as much as performance.
Cubot says the KINGKONG Dura has a 6.88in display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 64-megapixel main camera. Independent product listings add that the phone is powered by a Unisoc T620 chip, paired with 8GB of memory, and uses a 5,000mAh removable battery.
