Samsung’s latest One UI 9.0 update introduces a comprehensive support hub within Galaxy devices, offering users centralised access to warranty details, diagnostics, repair booking, and support tools, marking a shift towards more integrated after-sales services.
Samsung’s One UI 9.0 is turning device support into a more visible part of the phone’s core software. According to SamMobile, the update adds a dedicated Warranty and care area inside Settings on Galaxy devices, giving users a single place to check warranty status, see Samsung Care+ coverage, and access support tools without digging through menus.
The section appears to go beyond basic account information. SamMobile says it can also show the warranty status of other Galaxy devices linked to the same Samsung account and, on eligible devices, allow users to buy Samsung Care+ protection. Early analysis from Android Authority and Sammy Fans suggests Samsung is positioning the feature as a central support hub rather than a simple status page, with links to repair history, claim progress, help guides and service tracking.
Diagnostics are a major part of the redesign. SamMobile reports that users can run checks for battery health, charging, touch input, sensors, network connectivity, security, and backup and restore functions. The same reporting notes that Bixby is built into the workflow, so users can describe a problem by voice and be guided through troubleshooting steps instead of searching separately for fixes.
The support tools also extend into repair logistics. SamMobile says the feature can be used to book appointments at Samsung-authorised service centres, start remote support sessions and view estimated repair costs, including how much a customer may pay with or without Samsung Care+. That broader approach matches earlier teardown reports from Android Authority and SamMobile, which showed Samsung testing a hidden Warranty & Care app in One UI 9 as a more complete after-sales service hub.
