Google has now extended Qi2.2 wireless charging across the Pixel 11 range, bringing up to 25W support to every model in the line-up rather than reserving it for a single flagship tier. That matters because Qi2.2, also described as Qi2 25W, raises wireless charging output above the 15W ceiling associated with earlier Qi2 devices and should cut waiting times for users who rely on pads, stands and magnetic chargers.
According to Android Central, the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL all support Qi2 wireless charging with magnetic alignment, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is also compatible with the same 25W standard. The publication noted that the wider rollout is part of a broader hardware refresh announced by Google at its Made by Google event on 12 August 2026, alongside Tensor G6, which the company says is more efficient than before.
That makes accessory choice more important, especially for buyers moving beyond standard Qi charging.
