Boltt reveals similar display specs for upcoming Ace 5G and Evo 4G models

Boltt is set to launch the Ace 5G and Evo 4G on 25 August 2026, sharing a 6.79-inch display but differing in camera hardware, signalling a focus on affordability with matched features.

Boltt is preparing to launch the Ace 5G and Evo 4G on 25 August 2026, and the company has now confirmed the display specifications for both models. TelecomTalk reports that the two phones will share the same screen hardware, underlining Boltt’s plan to position them as low-cost devices with broadly matched features.

Each handset will use a 6.79-inch HD+ punch-hole panel with a 720 x 1640 resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio and a claimed peak brightness of 600 nits. Boltt says the display will support 120Hz refresh rate, although the supplied details also refer to 90Hz support, suggesting the company may be describing more than one operating mode or display specification tier.

Elsewhere, the phones are expected to share a 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, and Boltt claims the cell should retain 80% health after more than 500 charge cycles. Camera hardware will differ slightly between the two models: the Ace 5G is set to receive a 64MP AI rear sensor, while the Evo 4G will use a 50MP AI rear camera. Both phones are said to include an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
