Kiwi Ears Stardust: a natural-balanced in-ear monitor for musicians, audiophiles and gamers

Kiwi Ears unveils the Stardust, a versatile in-ear monitor with custom drivers and a tuned sound profile aimed at delivering coherence and clarity across music, gaming, and professional audio applications.

Kiwi Ears has introduced the Stardust, a new in-ear monitor built around a 10mm dynamic driver and four balanced armature drivers. According to the company’s announcement, the model is aimed at musicians, audiophiles and gamers, with tuning intended to sit between warmth and neutrality rather than push a strongly coloured sound signature. The firm says the Stardust uses a controlled bass lift, a warm-neutral midrange and a treble response shaped to support vocal and instrument clarity.

The driver layout follows a familiar pattern for the brand, which has recently used multi-driver hybrids across several models. Reviews of the Kiwi Ears Astral described that earphone as warm, detailed and well balanced, with tight bass, forward mids and smooth highs, while commentary on the Cadenza II praised its natural tonal balance and restrained treble. Taken together, those products suggest Kiwi Ears is continuing to lean on a tuning philosophy that favours coherence and listenability over overt emphasis.

Kiwi Ears says the Stardust uses a custom 10mm dynamic driver with a PU and LCP diaphragm for bass, alongside four balanced armature units for the midrange and treble. The shells are made from resin polymer with anodised aluminium faceplates, and the company says each unit is hand assembled and matched before sale. A detachable two-pin cable is included, with options for standard 3.5mm, mic-equipped 3.5mm and USB-C connections. The specifications list 107dB sensitivity, 13 ohm impedance and a frequency response of 20Hz to 40kHz.
