Soundcore’s Space 2 over-ear headphones introduce a significant upgrade in battery endurance and adaptive noise cancellation, targeting commuters and remote workers seeking reliable sound on the go.
soundcore’s Space 2 over-ear headphones are aimed at the familiar problem of modern listening: noisy commutes, shared workspaces and long journeys where clear audio is hard to maintain. The Anker-owned brand is pitching the model as an everyday headset for travel, calls and focused work, with adaptive noise cancellation, app-based tuning and a battery claim that places endurance at the centre of the design.
According to soundcore’s product information, the Space 2 uses four-stage adaptive noise cancellation that is intended to react to changes in the surrounding environment and suppress low-frequency noise such as traffic and aircraft engines. The headphones also include an eight-band equaliser in the companion app, while the ear-cup controls handle playback, volume and power. A customisable multifunction button can switch noise-cancelling modes or be set to features such as the Anka AI assistant and live translation.
The company has also fitted the Space 2 with three AI-enhanced microphones for calls and video meetings, plus Bluetooth 6.1 with dual-device connectivity. That makes it easier to move between a phone and laptop without reconnecting each time. Smart Wearing Detection pauses audio when the headphones are removed and resumes playback when they are put back on. SoundGuys and RTINGS both highlight the model’s comfort, noting the soft memory foam padding and over-ear fit, although RTINGS says that the same materials may retain heat during exercise.
Battery life is one of the strongest selling points. Soundcore rates the Space 2 at up to 70 hours with ANC switched off and up to 50 hours with ANC enabled. The company also says a five-minute charge can deliver up to four hours of listening. SoundGuys reports that the USB-C charging and extended runtime make the headset particularly practical for travel and long workdays.
In the Philippines, the Space 2 is priced at PHP7,995 and comes in black or white. It is sold through soundcore’s official website and its official stores on Lazada, Shopee and TikTok Shop. Notebookcheck says the model was positioned as an upgrade over its predecessor, with battery life and adaptive ANC central to its appeal in a crowded mid-range market.
