Gigabyte’s Aorus Master 16 in Europe emerges as a flagship gaming notebook, featuring Intel’s latest Core Ultra 9 275HX and Nvidia’s powerful RTX 5090 GPU, packed with premium specs and a stunning OLED display for gamers seeking top-tier performance.
Gigabyte’s Aorus Master 16 is being sold in Europe as a fully loaded 16-inch gaming notebook, with retailers listing a configuration that pairs Intel’s Core Ultra 9 275HX with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 5090 for €3,799. Notebookcheck says the model it tested finished with a “Good” rating of 85%, placing it among the stronger entries in the current high-end gaming class.
The hardware spec is firmly aimed at users who want top-tier performance for games, streaming, rendering and editing. RTINGS and Notebookcheck both describe the machine as using Intel’s 24-core Arrow Lake chip alongside Nvidia’s Blackwell-based graphics, with the latter putting the RTX 5090 at 24GB of GDDR7 memory and a 175W total graphics power limit. Tom’s Hardware, which reviewed a similar Aorus Master 16 variant, also positions the series as a serious performance laptop rather than a mainstream gaming model.
Memory and storage are similarly generous. The machine comes with 32GB of DDR5-5600 RAM in two SO-DIMM slots, so the memory can be expanded later. It also has two M.2 SSD bays, each occupied by a 1TB PCIe 4.0 drive. That gives the system 2TB of total storage out of the box, while leaving room for larger replacements if required.
The display is one of the main attractions. Gigabyte fits a 16-inch OLED panel with a 2,560 x 1,600 resolution, a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 240Hz refresh rate. Notebookcheck says it supports DCI-P3 colour, Dolby Vision and G-Sync, with the usual OLED advantages in contrast and response time. RTINGS likewise highlights the QHD+ OLED screen as a strong point for smooth gaming and image quality.
Connectivity is broad for a laptop of this type. According to Notebookcheck, the Aorus Master 16 includes Wi-Fi 7, Gigabit Ethernet, an RGB backlit keyboard and two Thunderbolt ports, one of them Thunderbolt 5. It also supports Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode, and ships with Windows 11 Pro. RTINGS adds HDMI 2.1, USB-C and Bluetooth 5.4 to the list of observed interfaces.
