A third-party 3D-printable adapter is now being marketed to let users mount a Google Fitbit device on a WHOOP 4.0 or WHOOP 5.0 strap. The Cults3D listing says the part is intended to preserve the low-profile, band-like feel of a WHOOP wearable while keeping the Fitbit in place for activity tracking, and it requires no changes to the strap itself.
The concept sits within a small but growing niche of accessory makers trying to bridge incompatible wearable ecosystems. StrapBridge, for example, sells adapters that let owners move existing WHOOP 4.0 bands on to WHOOP 5.0 hardware, while EverythingStraps and Printing Smarter offer similar add-ons for Fitbit Air users who want to wear the sensor on WHOOP-style bands. These products are typically sold separately from the trackers and bands, and most are designed for tool-free installation.
The appeal is straightforward: users want the comfort and aesthetic of a minimalist strap without giving up the health data gathered by their existing device. That matters because WHOOP has pushed a subscription-led model with more advanced recovery and health analytics, while rival screen-free wearables are competing on price and simplicity. TechRadar recently noted that the Amazfit Helio Strap, for instance, comes in at a lower upfront cost and does not require a mandatory subscription, whereas WHOOP remains centred on paid access to its software features.
As with most custom wearable accessories, the trade-off is fit. The Cults3D maker says the adapter is compact, lightweight and easy to print, but also warns that print quality, material choice and calibration will affect the final result. It is also clearly identified as an unofficial accessory, with no affiliation to Google, Fitbit or WHOOP.
