Cuktech’s latest 300W desktop charger aims to streamline workspace by replacing multiple power bricks with a compact, intelligent hub capable of charging phones, tablets, gaming devices, and demanding laptops, all with real-time status updates and advanced safety features.
CUKTECH is trying to do something unusually practical with its latest desktop charger: replace a pile of separate power bricks with one high-capacity unit. The CUKTECH 30 Ultra, first introduced this spring and now drawing fresh attention after design award recognition, combines a compact desktop form with enough output to serve phones, tablets, gaming handhelds and demanding laptops from a single hub. According to the company, the design is intended to simplify crowded workspaces while keeping charging performance high.
The hardware is built around five outputs: three USB-C ports, one USB-A port and a dedicated DC connection. CUKTECH says the two main USB-C ports can each deliver up to 140W under USB Power Delivery 3.1, while the DC output is rated to reach the full 300W ceiling for compatible laptops. Android Central and Notebookcheck both note that this arrangement makes the unit suitable for users who want to power multiple devices at once without juggling several chargers.
Inside, the charger uses third-generation gallium nitride, or GaN, alongside what CUKTECH describes as a PFC plus LLC dual-architecture power design. In practical terms, that means better efficiency and less heat than older silicon-based chargers, especially when several devices are drawing power together. The charger also supports a broad range of fast-charging standards, including PD 3.1, PPS, Xiaomi’s 120W system, UFCS, Huawei SCP, QC and AFC. Independent reviews say the unit can adjust power distribution intelligently, which matters for devices such as gaming handhelds and high-draw laptops.
A 1.83-inch IPS display sits on the front and shows wattage, voltage and current for each port in real time. The screen is colour-coded, and a tilting magnetic base helps keep it visible on a desk. CUKTECH also lists multiple protection layers for temperature, over-voltage and over-current events, while the included right-angle DC cable and grounded mains lead are meant to keep cabling tidier and safer. At $159.99, it sits above ordinary multi-port chargers, but the appeal is obvious for anyone trying to replace a drawer full of individual power supplies with one more capable desktop device.
