Samsung expands its premium notebook lineup in Brazil with three new models offering advanced features, vibrant displays, and powerful processors, aiming to attract professionals and tech enthusiasts.
Samsung has brought its Galaxy Book6 range to Brazil, refreshing its premium notebook line with three models aimed at different types of users. According to the company’s Brazilian announcement, the series consists of the Galaxy Book6, Galaxy Book6 Pro and Galaxy Book6 Ultra, with prices running from R$8,199 to R$18,999. Samsung says the new machines combine slim aluminium construction, USB-C fast charging and tighter integration with its Galaxy ecosystem, alongside AI features and Intel Core Ultra 300 processors.
The standard Galaxy Book6 is the entry point, with 14-inch and 16-inch IPS displays at Full HD+ resolution. Samsung offers it with Core Ultra 5 325 or Core Ultra 7 355 chips, integrated Intel graphics, up to 32 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of NVMe SSD storage. Canaltech reports that the 14-inch version weighs 1.43 kg and the 16-inch model 1.74 kg, both using a 39.40 Wh battery and a 1080p camera. Pricing starts at R$8,199, depending on the chosen configuration.
The Galaxy Book6 Pro is pitched at professionals who want a lighter chassis and a higher-end display. Samsung says it uses a 14-inch or 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with 3K resolution and touch support, paired with Core Ultra X7 358H or Core Ultra 5 325 processors, LPDDR5X memory and up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. Canaltech notes battery capacities of 67.18 Wh for the 14-inch model and 78.07 Wh for the 16-inch version, with weights of 1.24 kg and 1.59 kg respectively. The Pro model starts at R$10,699.
At the top of the range, the Galaxy Book6 Ultra is a 16-inch model with the same 3K AMOLED panel as the Pro, but with a Core Ultra 7 356H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics chip. Canaltech says it ships with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD, along with a 2.0 MP camera, six speakers, an 80.20 Wh battery and a weight of 1.89 kg. There is no configuration choice for this model, and Samsung has set the price at R$18,999. Some Brazilian outlets, however, reported the Ultra at R$18,699, suggesting local pricing may vary by retailer or launch timing.
