Huawei unveils its latest flagship, the Pura 90s Pro, in Indonesia, featuring a striking industrial design and formidable camera hardware aimed at the premium market.
Huawei has launched the Pura 90s Pro in Indonesia as part of a wider Pura 90s series push aimed at the premium smartphone market. The device is being positioned around photography, design and everyday usability, with Huawei describing its concept as a blend of capture, creativity and expressive moments. The launch in Jakarta on 28 August 2026 also introduced a higher-tier Pura 90s Pro Max.
The Pura 90s Pro follows a distinctive industrial design language built around a flat-edged frame and a triangular rear camera island. Huawei says the phone is available in several colours, including Guava Soda, Orange Soda, Coconut White and Mulberry Black. The company’s Indonesian presentation also highlighted a more lifestyle-led branding approach, while the device’s international specification pages point to a 6.6-inch LTPO OLED display with a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
Camera hardware is the main selling point. Huawei equips the phone with a 50MP main camera, a 12.5MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP macro telephoto camera. The company and retail listings also point to optical image stabilisation on the main and telephoto units, plus a variable aperture on the primary lens. Huawei says the system is built to preserve colour accuracy and capture close-up detail, with the macro telephoto lens designed for very short working distances.
Under the hood, the device uses the Kirin 9030S octa-core chip, paired with 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. It runs EMUI 16.0 and carries a 6,000mAh battery with 66W fast charging, alongside 5G, Bluetooth 6.0 and NFC support. In Indonesia, the Pura 90s Pro starts at Rp15,999,000, with a higher-capacity version priced at Rp17,999,000. Huawei says early buyers will receive bundled launch benefits worth up to Rp8.4 million.
