Xiaomi introduces the Redmi Watch 6 Active in the Philippines, offering key fitness and connectivity features at a Budget-friendly price of ₱2,599, with availability starting through online channels and later in stores, emphasising its long battery life and outdoor readability.
Xiaomi has brought the REDMI Watch 6 Active to the Philippines, pitching it as a low-cost smartwatch with fitness tracking, Bluetooth calling and extended battery life. The device is priced at ₱2,599 and is being sold first through Xiaomi’s online shop and Shopee as part of an early-bird offer until August 30, before wider online availability from August 31 and store sales from September 15.
The watch centres on a 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a 390 x 450 resolution and peak brightness of up to 1,200 nits, a specification Xiaomi says should improve outdoor readability. It also supports an always-on display, so users can glance at the time and basic alerts without fully waking the screen.
Design-wise, Xiaomi has kept the device slim at 9.9 mm, with a flat-edge frame and a quick-release strap system for easier band changes. Official Xiaomi specifications published in other markets also list the watch at 26 grams without the strap and show the same 44.5 mm by 39.4 mm footprint, underlining its focus on light all-day wear.
Health and connectivity features include 24/7 heart-rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, all-day stress monitoring and guided breathing exercises. The watch is also rated IP68 for dust and water resistance and supports Bluetooth 5.3 calling, allowing users to handle calls from the wrist when paired with a phone. A 470 mAh battery is rated for up to 18 days in light-use mode or about 12 days under typical use, which may be the strongest selling point for buyers looking to avoid frequent charging.
