Tecno’s latest entry in India, the Spark Go 3 Pro, blends durability with budget-friendly features, offering IP68 and IP69 ratings amid mixed hardware reports ahead of its September launch.
TECNO has unveiled the Spark Go 3 Pro in India, positioning it as a rugged budget handset with an unusual set of protections for the category. The phone is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance, which should make it resistant to immersion and to high-pressure water jets, while TECNO is also stressing impact protection for everyday use.
The display is a 6.74-inch or 6.78-inch HD+ LCD, depending on the report, with a 1,600 x 720 resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Other reported features include DTS stereo speakers, an IR blaster and AI Voiceprint Noise Cancellation for calls in noisy environments. TECNO has also confirmed a 5,200mAh battery with 15W wired charging over USB-C.
There is still some disagreement over the core hardware. Some reports say the phone uses a MediaTek Helio G81, while others point to a 12nm UNISOC T7250 with a Mali-G57 GPU. The same uncertainty extends to the battery, with one preview suggesting a 6,000mAh unit and others settling on 5,200mAh. A 13-megapixel rear camera, 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, a 3.5mm headphone jack and HiOS have also been mentioned, but TECNO has not yet fully detailed the specification sheet.
Pricing in India starts at Rs 15,999 for the 4GB+64GB model and Rs 16,999 for the 4GB+128GB version. Sales are due to begin on 4 September 2026 through partner retailers, TECNO outlets, Amazon and Flipkart.
