Acer introduces the lightweight, sustainability-focused Swift Air 14 in the Philippines, featuring a durable aluminium chassis, eco-friendly packaging, and up to 19 hours of battery life, targeting students and professionals seeking mobility and energy efficiency.
Acer has begun selling the Swift Air 14 in the Philippines, positioning the notebook as a light, sustainability-focused option for students and professionals. The launch was announced at the Acer Day 2026 concert event, with the company highlighting a metal aluminium chassis, MIL-STD-810H durability testing and a range of finishes including Black, Silver, Purple, Blue, Pink and Green.
The machine centres on a 14-inch IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200. Acer says it is using 100% recyclable packaging and that the model carries both Energy Star and EPEAT Gold certification, underscoring its environmental pitch. The company is also pushing the Swift Air 14 as a practical mobile device rather than a premium entertainment laptop.
Under the hood, Acer is fitting Intel Core Series 3 silicon, specifically the Core 5 processor 320 in the Philippine configuration, alongside Intel graphics and an integrated neural processing unit for on-device AI tasks. The laptop is offered with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 memory, a 512GB SSD and a 70Wh battery. Acer claims up to 19 hours of video playback and up to 16 hours of web browsing, with 100W USB Type-C charging that can take the battery to 50% in 30 minutes.
Other hardware includes an FHD infrared camera, DTS:X Ultra quad speakers, a backlit keyboard, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and Windows 11 Pro with Microsoft Office Home and Business 2024 Academic. Acer also says the laptop supports its Phone Webcam feature, which lets a compatible smartphone act as a webcam for sharper video in calls, online classes and presentations.
