Xbox launches Cozy Collection of pastel-themed gaming peripherals with lifestyle focus

Microsoft’s Xbox introduces the Designed for Xbox Cozy Collection, a pastel-hued line of peripherals blending aesthetic appeal with core gaming features, targeting players seeking a softer, lifestyle-oriented setup.

Microsoft’s Xbox brand has unveiled the Designed for Xbox Cozy Collection, a themed range of peripherals aimed at players who want a softer visual style without giving up core gaming features. The line, which is available now, leans on woodland colours and pastel accents rather than the black-and-neon look common in gaming accessories.

At the centre of the collection is 8BitDo’s Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard – Forest Wonder, a compact 87-key board with programmable controls, an RGB backlight and tactile Kailh switches. 8BitDo says the wider Retro Mechanical Keyboard family also supports Bluetooth, 2.4GHz wireless and wired connections, and includes a volume knob and an aluminium plate for durability.

The matching Retro R8 Mouse – Forest Wonder follows the same design language and adds four programmable side buttons, alongside a charging dock. 8BitDo’s Ultimate 3 Controller – Mossy Lagoon extends the theme to Xbox, PC and mobile, with adjustable joystick tension, improved grip, 2.4GHz wireless and wired play, Bluetooth support for mobile devices, and a wireless charging dock.

SteelSeries has contributed Arctis Gamebuds in Matcha and Yuzu, which the company says offer active noise cancellation, 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.3, 360-degree spatial audio, IP55 resistance and up to 40 hours of total battery life with the charging case. KontrolFreek’s No-Slip Thumb Grips – Xbox Cozy Edition complete the set with GripTek material and an ergonomic profile designed to improve control and comfort during longer sessions.

Xbox is pitching the collection as a lifestyle-led expansion of its accessories ecosystem rather than a hardware upgrade. For players building a coordinated desktop or console setup, the appeal is largely aesthetic, but the products still retain familiar gaming-focused features such as wireless charging, programmable inputs and platform compatibility.
