Sharp Consumer Electronics has introduced the CP-DS10 at IFA 2026, blending a 4-in-1 speaker dock with Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, Apple Watch support, USB-C, and high-quality Bluetooth stereo audio, aiming to reduce clutter and restore the classic speaker dock experience with modern features.
Sharp Consumer Electronics has used IFA 2026 to revive a familiar product category for a smartphone-led market: the speaker dock. The CP-DS10 is a compact 4-in-1 unit that combines Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, Apple Watch charging, USB-C charging and Bluetooth stereo audio in a single desktop device, according to the company’s announcement.
The design is aimed at reducing cable clutter on bedside tables, desks and kitchen counters while keeping a phone and other everyday accessories charged. The removable Apple Watch adapter can be taken out when it is not needed, allowing that port to be used for USB-C charging instead. A rear charging point is also included for a third device such as earbuds.
The main charging pad is Qi2 certified and delivers up to 15W, which should suit most current smartphones. Sharp says the dock is also MagSafe compatible, and the magnetic alignment is intended to help supported phones sit correctly on the charger. The company also says the position supports Apple’s StandBy mode on compatible iPhones when they are placed horizontally, turning the handset into a clock, photo frame or information display while it charges.
Audio is part of the appeal as much as charging. Sharp says the CP-DS10 includes Bluetooth stereo speakers with neodymium magnet drivers and a maximum output of 40W, positioning it as a more substantial alternative to a basic charging stand. The company’s audio product manager, Matt Sienko, said the aim was to bring back the convenience of old speaker docks in a form suited to modern phones. The dock will go on sale across Europe from October 2026 in Graphite Black and Cloud Grey, with Swedish outlet Smarta Hem Test reporting a price of €99.
