Ugreen has launched a new range of Qi2 25W wireless chargers featuring active micro-pump liquid cooling and innovative thermal control to maximise charging speed and battery health, disrupting current market standards.
UGREEN has taken a cooling-first approach to faster wireless charging from a launch event at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts to the IFA 2026 show floor in Berlin, presenting a three-product MagFlow range built around Qi2 25W charging. The centrepiece is a 10,000mAh magnetic power bank that the company describes as the first Qi2 25W model with active micro-pump liquid cooling, alongside a three-device desk stand and a foldable two-device charger.
That emphasis on thermal control is not incidental. FoneArena reported that UGREEN argues the step from 15W to 25W in Qi2 charging lifts power by almost 70%, but also increases heat enough to risk throttling, slower charging and added strain on battery health. Android Central made the same point from a consumer angle, saying the company is trying to keep temperatures down while sustaining higher speeds, particularly on products intended to charge more than one device at once.
The portable model, the MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 25W, is the most technically unusual of the three. According to FoneArena, it pairs 25W Qi2 wireless charging with up to 45W wired output through a built-in USB-C cable, uses ATL high-density cells and Dymondcell 2.0 protection, and relies on ThermalGuard to adjust output according to temperature. Android Authority added a more visual detail: the battery pack uses a multi-layer cooling chamber driven by a smart micropump, and the coolant can be seen moving through a transparent section while the system is active. UGREEN says the unit can take an iPhone 17 Pro Max to 50% in 40 minutes and keep peak temperature as much as 10°C below a 48°C industry reference.
The MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 stand is aimed at desks and bedside tables rather than portability. Android Central said it was shown at Gillette Stadium on the evening of 3 September with CryoPulse TEC active cooling and an “ultra-quiet” 15dB fan. FoneArena reported that the stand can charge an iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods simultaneously, while Notebookcheck put the total wireless output at 32.5W, split as 25W for the phone and 5W each for the watch and earbuds when all pads are in use. UGREEN’s own test figures, cited by several outlets, say the stand can bring an iPhone 17 Pro Max to 50% in 26 minutes and an Apple Watch Series 11 to 50% in 19 minutes. Notebookcheck also said the stand rotates through 360 degrees and tilts vertically by 90 degrees, turning it into a viewing stand as well as a charger.
The third product is simpler, but arguably the easiest to understand. MacTech described the overall family as covering portable power, desktop charging and a compact foldable option for travel, and that final category is filled by the MagFlow 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W. FoneArena and Notebookcheck said it folds down to 60 x 72 x 27mm, acts as a magnetic phone stand when opened, and can deliver up to 25W to an iPhone and 5W to AirPods at the same time. FoneArena added that it uses ThermalGuard temperature management and a cool-touch glass surface.
Pricing is less clear-cut than the product naming. Android Central said on 3 September that the power bank would sell for $149 in the US, with the 2-in-1 at $59 and the 3-in-1 at $159. MacTech, writing the following day, listed US prices at $149.99, $159.99 and $59.99 respectively. However, Notebookcheck later cited $129.99 for the 3-in-1 stand and $42.99 for the 2-in-1 charger, both available through UGREEN’s website and Amazon. FoneArena, focusing on Europe, said sales there began on 4 September at €119.99 or £109.99 for the power bank, €139.99 or £119.99 for the stand, and €49.99 or £43.99 for the foldable charger.
The launch also sits inside a broader expansion effort by the company. AndroidGuys reported that the Gillette Stadium event was used not only for MagFlow, but also for UGREEN’s entry into the AIoT market with its HomeAgent smart-home system and a “local-first” pitch that keeps storage, processing and device control on local hardware rather than pushing everything to the cloud. The same report said UGREEN named New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez as its global brand ambassador. FoneArena added that at IFA the company was exhibiting across halls H3.2-153 and H2.2-135 under the theme “Smarter Living Starts Here”, and was providing complimentary charging at designated rest areas as an official charging partner.
The competitive backdrop suggests UGREEN is not alone in treating heat as the next constraint in premium magnetic charging. Notebookcheck noted that Anker has also introduced an actively cooled charging product, although with only a single wireless pad. What distinguishes UGREEN’s latest range is not merely the move to Qi2 25W, but the decision to make cooling a visible feature, complete with displays, temperature read-outs and, in the case of the power bank, circulating liquid on show. That turns a normally hidden engineering fix into the defining feature of the line.
