Sanwa Supply unveils compact USB-C hub with 4K HDMI and 100W Power Delivery for thin laptops

Sanwa Supply has launched a versatile 500-KC052 USB-C hub tailored for slim laptops, offering 4K HDMI, USB Power Delivery, and a USB-A port in a single compact device to simplify connectivity and reduce desk clutter.

Sanwa Supply has introduced a compact USB-C hub aimed at thin laptops that have moved away from legacy ports. The new 500-KC052 combines HDMI output, USB Power Delivery charging and a USB-A port in a single cable assembly, and is being sold through Sanwa Direct for 3,345 yen before tax. The company says it is also available through its stores on Rakuten Ichiba, Yahoo! Shopping, au Pay Market and Amazon.

The adapter is designed to reduce desk clutter and avoid the need to carry separate dongles for display output and peripheral connections. It allows a user to connect a mouse, keyboard, USB memory device or external storage while sending video to an external monitor or projector. Sanwa Supply is positioning it as a practical accessory for laptops that only offer USB-C ports, where users still need HDMI and at least one USB-A connection.

On the display side, the 500-KC052 supports up to 4K at 60Hz and HDR, with both mirrored and extended desktop modes. That makes it suitable for presentations as well as for adding a second screen for work. Power Delivery support reaches 100W input and 92W output, so a compatible AC adapter can charge the host device at the same time as the hub is in use. The cable is about 50cm long, the USB-A port supports 5Gbps, and the only colour listed is black.
