Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Plus outshines the FE in specs and availability in Brazil

The Galaxy S26 Plus offers a sharper display, better performance and more advanced features than the S26 FE, with the Plus already available in Brazil, making it the preferred choice for buyers seeking top-tier specifications.

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 FE are aimed at different buyers, even though they share a familiar design language and much of the same core hardware. According to Oficina da Net, the Plus model is the more ambitious device, while the FE is positioned as the cheaper route into the same family. That split is reflected across the key specifications: the Plus is built around a sharper display, stronger chip and more advanced connectivity, whereas the FE trims a few features to keep costs down.

On design, the two phones are closely related. Both use aluminium frames, glass backs and IP68 water and dust resistance, with Gorilla Glass protection on the front and rear. LesMobiles notes that the FE is slightly larger and heavier, while the Plus is more compact and lighter in hand. The display gap is more significant: 91mobiles and Oficina da Net both point to a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel on each model, but the S26 Plus adds 1440 x 3120 resolution and higher peak brightness, compared with 1080 x 2340 and lower brightness on the FE.

Performance also favours the Plus. Oficina da Net says the S26 Plus uses Samsung’s Exynos 2600 with 12GB of RAM, while the FE relies on the Exynos 2500 with 8GB. Neoteo likewise places the Plus ahead on clock speed and overall headroom. In practice, that means the Plus should cope better with heavy games and demanding multitasking. The camera systems are broadly similar, with both phones using a 50MP main sensor, 12MP front camera and 8K video capture, but Samsung’s support material shows the Plus has a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom, alongside a 12MP ultrawide, giving it a more capable rear setup.

Battery life is less of a dividing line. Both devices carry a 4,900mAh battery and 45W wired charging, according to the comparison sources, but the Plus adds 20W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging, while the FE tops out at 15W wireless charging. The Plus also carries Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0 and Ultra Wideband support, against Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4 on the FE. Samsung is reported to be offering seven years of software and security updates on both models. For Brazilian buyers, however, there is a practical catch: Oficina da Net says the Galaxy S26 Plus is already on sale, whereas the Galaxy S26 FE has not yet been officially announced in Brazil. That makes the Plus the clearer choice for now, especially given its stronger screen, faster silicon and more complete feature set.
