UGREEN offers record-low price on 300W multi-port charger with GaN tech in Japan

UGREEN’s 300W desktop charger, equipped with GaN technology and five ports, is now available at a 21% discount on Amazon Japan, offering a powerful and compact charging solution for multiple devices.

UGREEN’s 300W desktop charger is being sold on Amazon in Japan for ¥16,000, down 21% from a reference price of ¥20,180, according to AppBank. The discount makes the five-port unit, which combines four USB-C ports with one USB-A port, a cheaper option for users who want a single charging hub for several devices at once.

The charger is built around a high-output design that UGREEN says can maintain rapid charging even when multiple devices are connected. Its top USB-C port supports up to 140W under USB Power Delivery 3.1, while the remaining ports share power intelligently across phones, tablets, game consoles and high-draw laptops such as the MacBook Pro. UGREEN’s own product listing says the device can deliver up to 300W in total, with the power budget distributed according to what is plugged in.

UGREEN also says the charger uses GaN technology, specifically two GaNFast III chips, together with its Thermal Guard cooling system to manage heat and preserve a compact footprint. The unit measures about 11.16cm by 5.3cm by 9.34cm and is designed to stand upright, which makes it easier to place on a desk or bedside table. A 1.5-metre power cable is included, adding some flexibility over where it can be positioned.

For people trying to reduce cable clutter, the appeal is straightforward: one charger for several everyday devices, with enough headroom for a laptop as well as smaller electronics. Notebookcheck reported that the model has also recently been appearing at a record-low Amazon price, underscoring the current appeal of the discount.
