Anker has launched a portable, high-power six-port charging station designed to simplify travel charging by accommodating multiple devices with intelligent power management, all within a compact design.
Anker has introduced a compact six-port travel charging station that aims to reduce the number of chargers travellers need to carry. According to the company’s product listing, the device delivers up to 150W in total and is designed to charge laptops as well as phones, tablets and smaller accessories from a single unit.
The charger measures 5.9 x 2.7 x 0.87 inches and weighs 0.64 lb, with Anker describing it as smaller than an iPhone 17 and lighter than a 330ml soda can. It includes a flat braided mains cable and a 90-degree foldable plug, while its 100-240V input support means it should work with power sockets in many countries.
Port layout is straightforward: four USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. The two main USB-C connectors each support up to 100W, while the other USB-C ports are rated at up to 45W and the USB-A ports at up to 12W. Anker says its PowerIQ 4.0 system automatically allocates power across connected devices according to demand.
The company has also built in ActiveShield 4.0, which it says monitors internal temperature more than 10 million times a day and adds seven layers of protection against problems such as overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating and short circuits. The station is on pre-order in the US at $79.99, although buyers will need to supply their own USB-C and USB-A cables, as none are included.
