Apple launches the iPhone Duo featuring a foldable display and enhanced MagSafe wireless charging, supported by third-party chargers offering versatile and travel-friendly options.
Apple’s new iPhone Duo arrives with a foldable design that blends a 7.6-inch main LTPO OLED panel with a 5.4-inch cover screen, both running at 120Hz. According to Apple’s specifications, it is powered by the A20 Pro chip and is offered with 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB storage options. The company also says the handset supports MagSafe wireless charging, making it straightforward to pair with accessories built for magnetic alignment and higher-wattage charging.
For buyers who want the official option, Apple’s MagSafe Charger remains the simplest choice. Apple says it can deliver up to 25W of wireless charging when used with a 30W USB-C power adapter, and that it is also suitable for AirPods with wireless charging cases. The charger is sold with either a 1m or 2m cable, and Apple recommends placing the phone on the charger only after the power source is connected to achieve maximum output.
Third-party makers have also moved quickly to support the latest Qi2.2 standard. Anker’s Prime 25W 3-in-1 Foldable Charger and Belkin’s 25W 3-in-1 Foldable Fast Charging Station both advertise up to 25W wireless charging, with travel-friendly folding designs and bundled 45W power supplies. Anker adds its AirCool temperature control system, while Belkin highlights a soft-touch silicone finish and non-slip base.
For users seeking a cheaper single-device pad, Amazon Basics and UGREEN each offer 25W Qi2.2 chargers at far lower prices than the premium multi-device stands. Amazon’s model includes an adjustable kickstand and a built-in 5ft cable, although it does not ship with an adapter. UGREEN’s charger adds ThermalGuard and MultiProtect protection features, but it also requires a separate high-wattage USB-C adapter. That makes the choice largely a trade-off between convenience, protection features and overall cost.
