Jackery has introduced the Explorer 300D, a compact portable power station aimed at people who need charging capacity away from a fixed desk. The company positions it for mobile work, travel and backup use, with a design centred on USB-C and direct current output rather than conventional mains sockets.
The unit carries a 288Wh battery, a 300W total DC output and a claimed weight of about 2.5 kilogrammes. Jackery says the smaller format is intended to make the device easier to carry than a full-size power station, while still offering more resilience than a pocket power bank.
Its focus on USB-C reflects how many modern devices now charge. Laptops, tablets, phones, cameras and accessories increasingly support USB-C Power Delivery, allowing higher charging rates through a single cable. By building around that standard, Jackery is targeting users whose everyday kit no longer depends on AC plugs.
The Explorer 300D also includes an unusual two-in-one shoulder strap that can be detached and used as a 140W USB-C charging cable. That detail is practical rather than cosmetic: it reduces the number of separate accessories a user needs to carry, which matters for commuters, creators and anyone packing chargers into a single bag.
For mobile workers, the appeal is temporary continuity rather than full off-grid independence. Jackery says the unit can support several laptop charging cycles and keep a Wi-Fi router running for hours, although actual performance will depend on the device attached. It can also provide backup power during short outages, giving users time to save work or stay online.
The same case extends to photographers and content creators who travel with cameras, drones, smartphones and lights. Jackery says the Explorer 300D can recharge camera or drone batteries several times, again depending on the equipment involved. It is available through Jackery’s own online stores on Shopee and Lazada, as well as at its kiosk in SM Fairview and selected partner shops.
