Anker unveils the MagGo 2 Pro, a high-performance magnetic power bank featuring active cooling, faster wired charging, and a smart display, set to disrupt the portable charging market.
Anker has begun selling the MagGo 2 Pro in several markets, including the US, the UK and Germany, after unveiling it at IFA 2026. According to Notebookcheck, the magnetic power bank is designed to tackle one of the main drawbacks of high-power wireless charging: heat. The device combines a 10,000mAh battery, Qi2.2 wireless charging at up to 25W, 45W USB-C charging and a smart display in a compact form factor.
The key technical change is active cooling. Anker says the power bank uses a built-in fan, two vents and three layers of graphene to keep temperatures below 36C during 25W wireless charging. Notebookcheck noted that this is meant to hold charging output more consistently over longer sessions and reduce thermal stress on the phone battery.
The company also claims the MagGo 2 Pro can recharge an attached device more quickly over wired USB-C, while the smart display shows charging output, battery status and fan settings. Anker’s UK product listing says the accessory includes a built-in stand and supports recent iPhone models, excluding the iPhone 16e. The same listing puts the price at £99.99, with a discount advertised at launch.
Pricing appears broadly aligned across regions, with Notebookcheck reporting a euro price of €109.99 and a launch promotion in some markets. Anker has presented the device as its fastest and coolest wireless power bank, although that claim is a marketing description rather than an independent test result. Still, the combination of active cooling, higher wired output and live status information makes the MagGo 2 Pro one of the more technically ambitious magnetic power banks now on sale.
