Reincubate has launched Camo Studio 2.9, adding dual-format output, expanded multistreaming options, and AI control, positioning the tool as a comprehensive solution for modern creators.
Reincubate has updated Camo Studio to version 2.9 with a substantial expansion of its live-production tools, most notably dual-format streaming and recording. The software can now output landscape and portrait layouts at the same time, with each format built on its own independent canvas, a change aimed at creators who need to serve multiple platforms without rebuilding scenes for every destination.
The release also broadens the platform’s distribution options. According to Reincubate, Camo Studio 2.9 adds direct streaming to Facebook and Instagram, while the release notes say Windows users also gain native multistreaming to several destinations, along with direct support for Kick. That push suggests the company is positioning Camo more directly against broader creator-production tools rather than only webcam software.
Editing and scene construction have also become more flexible. The update introduces layer masks, stacks that can group layers and automatically manage their size and position, and gradient fills in the Portuguese-language announcement. Reincubate also says users can now create isolated recordings, which save each source to its own file in parallel with the main programme recording, a feature that should make post-production and clipping easier for streamers and editors.
Camo Studio 2.9 further adds built-in audio noise reduction and better stream audio quality, alongside smoother previews when multiple cameras are active. Reincubate says text layers now scale from their corner handles, and the update fixes problems involving some custom RTMP servers, including Restream, as well as a delay that could leave the app taking around 10 minutes to launch after an unresponsive USB camera. The company also says the software can now be controlled by AI agents such as Claude, and the Windows release notes add web layers, dockable chat and activity panels, an Elgato Stream Deck plugin, and scene import from OBS.
