Lower-cost models like the POCO F8 Pro, Google Pixel 9 Pro, and OnePlus 15T are redefining value in 2026, offering consumers high performance without flagship prices amid rising premium smartphone costs.
Flagship smartphones continue to climb in price in 2026, but several lower-cost models now offer a more practical balance of performance, battery life and camera hardware. In a recent roundup, Focus highlighted three devices that stand out in Ukraine this autumn: the POCO F8 Pro, Google Pixel 9 Pro and OnePlus 15T. The ranking is based on value rather than absolute class-leading specifications, and each handset targets a slightly different kind of buyer.
The cheapest of the trio is the POCO F8 Pro, which combines a 6.59-inch 12-bit AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness rating of 3,500 nits and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. POCO’s own specifications also confirm the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform built on a 3nm process, 12GB of RAM, UFS 4.1 storage and a 6,210mAh battery with 100W HyperCharge and IP68 resistance. Focus says the phone is priced at 24,999 hryvnias for the 12/256GB version in Ukraine, making it the most affordable option in the selection.
Google’s Pixel 9 Pro remains the most camera-focused choice and is still notable for its long software support. Google’s support material lists a 6.3-inch Super Actua LTPO display, 16GB of RAM, Tensor G4 silicon, a 4,700mAh battery and IP68 protection, while PhoneArena says the phone launched in September 2024. Focus points to the triple-camera system as its main advantage, with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel telephoto lens and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, plus seven years of Android updates. In Ukraine, the 16/128GB model starts at 27,899 hryvnias.
The OnePlus 15T is the most ambitious of the three on raw hardware. According to Focus, it pairs a 6.32-inch AMOLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 12GB of RAM and a 7,500mAh battery, all inside a 8.4mm body. Its listed camera package includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical stabilisation and a 50-megapixel telephoto module with 3.5-times optical zoom, while the phone also carries IP68/IP69K protection and 100W wired charging. Focus places the 12/256GB version at 28,029 hryvnias in Ukraine, only slightly above the Pixel but with a substantially larger battery and a faster display.
