The company is pitching the phone as a long-term option in a segment where low prices often come at the expense of durability, software support or both. According to Media Indonesia’s report from Jakarta, Samsung Electronics Indonesia says the model is intended to offer everyday convenience without pushing the price beyond the reach of mainstream buyers. Carisinyal’s overview places the handset in the same sub-Rp3 million bracket, reinforcing its positioning as a value-focused release.
The core hardware centres on MediaTek’s Helio G99+ chipset, paired with Samsung’s claim of LPDDR5 memory support. That combination is presented as the basis for smoother app switching and more responsive day-to-day use, especially for people who move between messaging, social media, calls and productivity tools throughout the day. Samsung is also leaning on artificial intelligence features as a key selling point, with support for tools such as Circle to Search, Google Gemini and Perplexity. While that list is unusual for a budget-class phone, the company is clearly trying to show that entry-level pricing no longer has to mean limited software capability. Some third-party listings, however, still describe the device with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, suggesting that regional configurations and marketing claims may not be fully aligned across all markets.
