Infinix unveils the GT NX Controller and GT NX Station dock, introducing a console-like gaming experience for mobile players with advanced connectivity and thermal cooling features.
Infinix has expanded its gaming accessory line-up with the GT NX Controller and GT NX Station dock, two products aimed at mobile players who want a more desktop-like setup. According to JAM Online, the pair is designed to bring a console-style feel and fuller connectivity to compatible phones, while keeping the emphasis on fast response and low-latency control.
The GT NX Controller is the more unusual of the two. Infinix says it is the first mobile controller to include a Pixel-Level FPS Precision Touchpad, which is intended to improve aiming in first-person shooters. Gadgets 360 reported that the controller uses an esports-grade three-chip low-latency design, with two processors in the left grip and one in the right, to support millisecond-level direct connectivity. The company also claims more than 22 hours of battery life on a single charge, and some reports note adjustable haptic feedback as part of the package.
The GT NX Station is positioned as a docking hub for players who want to use their phone with a larger display and more peripherals. Infinix says it includes built-in TEC active cooling to help limit thermal throttling during heavy gaming sessions. The dock supports both screen mirroring and extended-display modes over HDMI, giving users a way to move beyond the phone screen when playing or streaming.
Connectivity is another major part of the pitch. The dock offers a 9-in-1 layout that includes Gigabit Ethernet, dual USB-A ports, dual USB-C ports with Power Delivery, a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A single braided USB-C host cable links the system back to the phone. Infinix has not yet disclosed pricing or market availability, so the accessories remain at the announcement stage for now.
