Ugreen launches US version of Nexode 45W power bank with enhanced safety and diagnostics

Ugreen introduces its compact Nexode 45W power bank to the US market, emphasising safety credentials, digital diagnostics, and versatile charging for on-the-go users with new 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh models.

Ugreen has brought its Nexode 45W power bank to the US, positioning it as a more compact, lower-capacity alternative to the larger version already sold in Europe. In China, the same family is marketed as the P6 45W fast-charging power bank, and the US launch splits the range into 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh models for different use cases. The smaller model is aimed at everyday carry, while the larger one is pitched at users who want more reserve capacity without moving to a much bulkier accessory.

The main selling point is safety. Ugreen says the cells are supplied by ATL and that the device has passed a series of durability and abuse tests, including puncture, compression and high-temperature thermal testing at up to 140C. The company also says the power bank carries 3C certification for aircraft use, which makes it a more travel-friendly option than some unregulated external batteries. Ugreen’s own product information for similar models adds that its battery management system tracks temperature, output and fault records in real time, underlining how much of the product pitch now centres on monitoring as well as charging performance.

Charging performance is rated at up to 45W, with Ugreen claiming the 10,000mAh version can take an iPhone 17 Pro to 66% in 30 minutes. Both models include a built-in USB-C cable that doubles as a carry strap, alongside USB-C and USB-A ports, so the power bank can charge three devices at once. A small integrated display shows key status data, including power output and battery condition, which places the device squarely in the increasingly crowded market for compact power banks with digital diagnostics.

The physical differences between the two versions are also significant. Notebookcheck reported that the 10,000mAh model weighs 200g and measures 4.25 x 2.72 x 0.71 inches, while the 20,000mAh model weighs 380g and measures 4.59 x 2.80 x 1.18 inches. In the US, prices are $79.99 and $99.99 respectively, although Ugreen’s own US site also lists a Nexode Pro 10,000mAh 45W model at $54.99, suggesting the company is using similar naming across slightly different variants and regions. The larger 20,000mAh version has already appeared in other markets, where Ugreen says it can charge multiple devices at once and complete a full recharge in about four hours.
