Lenovo unveils the 900 Transparent Wireless Mouse, featuring a clear, dual-layer design and multi-device connectivity, blending style with productivity for everyday office use.
Lenovo is adding a more decorative twist to a familiar office peripheral with the 900 Transparent Wireless Mouse, a multi-device model built around a clear outer shell and a mirrored inner layer. The design gives the device a more technical, exposed appearance than a standard plastic mouse, while keeping the overall focus on productivity rather than gaming or high-end customisation.
The mouse uses a symmetrical, pebble-like form intended to suit both left-handed and right-handed users. Lenovo says the body weighs about 125g, and the full-size shape is meant to support comfortable use through a working day. The company also pairs the transparent housing with aluminium alloy buttons and a metal scroll wheel, which it says are rated for up to 5 million clicks.
Inside, the Lenovo 900 uses a PixArt PAW 3222 optical sensor with adjustable sensitivity from 400DPI to 4,000DPI. That range should be enough for routine office tasks, from precise cursor placement to faster movement across larger displays. Lenovo also says the mouse can connect to up to three devices at once, using dual Bluetooth 5.3 connections and a 2.4GHz Pro Unified Receiver, with a dedicated switch for moving between devices. Lenovo’s support material also notes compatibility with Lenovo Accessories and Display Manager for customisation and device management.
Power comes from a built-in 300mAh rechargeable battery, with Lenovo claiming up to three months of use on a full charge. Notebookcheck reported that the mouse is being launched alongside a translucent low-profile keyboard, that it will come in Thunder Grey and Cloud Grey, and that the mouse is priced at $49.99. Taken together, the specifications place the Lenovo 900 in the crowded multi-device office mouse category, but with a more visibly engineered design than most rivals.
