Itel has introduced the A300+ in the Philippines, featuring a large display, a 7,000mAh battery, and a rear display for added functionality, targeting price-sensitive consumers seeking durability and specifications.
itel has expanded its entry-level line-up in the Philippines with the A300+, a handset that tries to stand out less on price alone than on specification density. The model is being pitched at buyers who want a large screen, unusually high battery capacity and a secondary display on the back, a feature more often seen on more expensive devices. According to the launch materials, it combines a 6.78-inch main panel with a 2.01-inch interactive rear screen that can be used for selected functions and quick information.
The device is built around MediaTek’s Helio G81 Ultimate platform, with 4GB of RAM and support for extended virtual memory, while storage is offered in 64GB and 128GB versions. Itel’s specifications indicate Android as the operating system, dual-SIM support, 4G connectivity and expandable memory. Pinoy Techno Guide says the phone runs Android 16 Go Edition, while itel’s own product page highlights the rear display’s ability to show selfies, clocks and images.
On the imaging side, the A300+ keeps matters simple. The rear camera is a 13-megapixel unit, and the front camera uses an 8-megapixel sensor in the punch-hole cut-out. That configuration is modest, but it fits the phone’s positioning as a budget model rather than a camera-focused one. YugaTech and PH Tech News both note that the device also includes DTS stereo speakers, IP65 resistance and military-grade durability claims, adding to its appeal for price-sensitive buyers looking for extra resilience.
Battery life is one of the clearest selling points. Itel says the A300+ uses a 7,000mAh battery with 22.5W charging, a combination that should place it among the more endurant phones in its class. The company also markets features such as ultra-volume speakers and a long-range calling function branded UltraLink, while third-party coverage notes that the battery is designed for extended charge-cycle durability. In the Philippines, the 4GB plus 64GB variant is priced at PHP 6,499, while the 4GB plus 128GB model costs PHP 6,999.
