ASUS Japan unveils AI-optimised ProArt laptops with NVIDIA RTX Spark for creative professionals

ASUS Japan introduces the ProArt P16 and P14 laptops featuring NVIDIA’s RTX Spark superchip, targeting AI workloads, video editing, and 3D rendering for creative professionals, with sales starting in late October.

ASUS Japan has confirmed that two new ProArt creator laptops, the ProArt P16 (H7607) and ProArt P14 (H7407), will go on sale in Japan from late October. The company said the machines will be sold through its own online store and a range of retail partners including Amazon.co.jp, Bic Camera, Yodobashi Camera, Joshin and Yamada Denki. The launch marks the local arrival of ASUS’s latest push into AI-focused creator hardware.

The two models centre on NVIDIA’s RTX Spark superchip, which combines a Blackwell-based RTX GPU, a Grace CPU and unified memory in a single platform. ASUS says the system is designed to deliver up to 1 petaflop of AI performance, placing the laptops in a class aimed at local generative AI workloads, AI agent use, video editing and 3D rendering. According to ASUS’s global product material, the ProArt P16 can be configured with up to 128GB of unified memory, which should help when handling large models and data-heavy creative projects.

ASUS is offering the ProArt P16 as a 16-inch model and the ProArt P14 as a 14-inch alternative, giving buyers a choice between a larger workstation-style machine and a more compact portable design. Both are being shown in Nano Black and Neo White finishes, with CNC-machined chassis work intended to give the range a more premium feel. ASUS says the black version is designed to resist fingerprints, while the white model uses a sandblasted finish for a different texture and appearance.

The company is also bundling its own AI software with the range. Story Cube is intended to sort and classify photos and video automatically, while MuseTree is positioned as an idea-generation tool that uses text and images to help with design concepts, illustration and early-stage visual work. ASUS has repeatedly linked the new ProArt line-up to its broader creator ecosystem, which also includes displays and peripherals, and has presented the notebooks as tools for developers and creative professionals who want more AI processing to happen locally rather than in the cloud.
