ASUS has launched its ProArt P16 and P14 laptops in the UAE, pairing creator-focused hardware with local AI tools and prices of up to AED 16,499.
ASUS has started selling its ProArt P16 and ProArt P14 laptops in the UAE, positioning the pair as portable Windows machines built for creators and developers who want more AI work to happen on the device itself. The company says the models are available through the ASUS UAE eShop and major retailers, with buyers receiving a free ASUS MD200 Silent Plus Mouse. Pricing is set at AED 16,499 for the ProArt P16 and AED 12,999 for the ProArt P14.
The launch extends ASUS’s wider push around RTX Spark, the platform the company says is designed for local AI processing and graphics-heavy workloads. According to ASUS, the laptops can run supported AI tasks directly on the device, reducing dependence on cloud services for activities such as image generation, video creation and application development. The company also says this approach can give users more control over their files and prompts, while keeping cloud tools available for workflows that still need them.
At the hardware level, ASUS is pairing the platform with up to 128GB of shared memory and its own creative software. MuseTree is intended to help users develop ideas and generate images, while StoryCube uses AI to sort photos and video clips by scene. ASUS is also highlighting support for ComfyUI, a visual workflow tool for building image and video pipelines, and Hermes Agent by Nous Research, which can interact with applications and local files. The company presents these tools as a way to move from concept to production with less friction.
Both laptops are aimed at users who need performance in a travel-friendly format. The 16-inch ProArt P16 measures 12.9mm thick and weighs 1.77kg, while the 14-inch ProArt P14 is 13.9mm thick and weighs 1.48kg. ASUS says both use Lumina Pro OLED panels with reduced reflections and colour-accurate output; the P16 supports up to 4K resolution and the P14 up to 3K, with a 120Hz refresh rate across the line depending on configuration. ASUS also says eligible ProArt laptops bought through authorised UAE channels come with one year of ASUS Perfect Warranty covering accidental damage, including drops, spills, electrical surges and breakage.
The UAE launch follows earlier regional pre-order activity reported by Gulf News, which said buyers were initially being offered a complimentary ASUS ProArt Display PA248CRV monitor. ASUS’s own announcements around the ProArt RTX Spark range have also stressed broader ambitions for the platform, including local agentic AI, token-free usage for more predictable costs and support for demanding workflows such as large 3D scenes and AI video generation. In the UAE, however, the current retail offer centres on the two laptops themselves and the bundled mouse.
