Fujifilm brings Instax Pal 2 and Link Wide 2 printer to the Philippines

The updated pocket camera adds a viewfinder, top-mounted display and USB-C, while Fujifilm’s new printer offers a faster route from digital photos to Instax Wide prints.

Fujifilm has launched the Instax Pal 2 in the Philippines, positioning the small digital camera as a more capable follow-up to the original Pal. According to Fujifilm’s local product page, the camera is priced at Php 10,599 and is being sold in white and silver. The design has shifted towards a more clearly camera-like form factor, with a rectangular body, an optical viewfinder and a 1-inch LCD screen mounted on the top edge for checking images and changing settings.

The company has also added a slide-out USB-C port for charging and photo transfer, a detail that reinforces the Pal 2’s emphasis on portability and simple workflow. Fujifilm says the camera uses a 10.7-megapixel, 1/3.06-inch sensor, paired with a 28mm equivalent lens with an f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. It can store up to 100 photos internally, and Fujifilm says storage can be expanded with microSD cards of up to 2TB.

The Instax Pal 2 is designed to work across Fujifilm’s instant film ecosystem. The company says it supports Instax Mini, Square and Wide formats, and it includes five built-in filters, with more available through the Instax Pal app. One of its more unusual functions is Animation mode, which captures 10 images and turns them into a flipbook-style sequence.

Alongside the camera, Fujifilm has introduced the Instax Link Wide 2 printer in the Philippines at Php 10,999. According to the company, the printer uses Instax Wide film and adds a Photo Mixer feature in the companion app, allowing users to crop and combine multiple images before printing. That makes the new printer a natural companion for the Pal 2, especially for users who want to move quickly from digital capture to a physical print.

The launch comes as compact instant-style devices continue to attract attention from camera buyers looking for simpler, more playful alternatives to larger systems. Digital Camera World reported that the Instax Pal 2 recently topped the best-selling camera chart at B&H Photo Video for September 2026, suggesting that the pocket-sized format and retro styling are resonating beyond Fujifilm’s own marketing claims. The Link Wide 2 has also drawn interest in review coverage for its mix of digital editing tools and traditional instant output.
