Anker’s 140W USB-C cable powers two devices from one lead

Anker’s 2-in-1 USB-C cable combines two charging leads in one 1.2-metre cable, supporting up to 140W while sharing power between phones, tablets and laptops.

Anker’s 140W 2-in-1 USB-C to USB-C cable is aimed at people who want to simplify a crowded charging set-up without giving up speed. By combining two USB-C leads into one assembly, it allows two devices to be powered from a single cable, which makes it easier to keep desks, bags and travel kits tidy. The product is pitched as a practical match for high-output chargers, especially where multiple phones, tablets or notebooks need attention at the same time.

According to Anker, the cable supports up to 140W of output, so it is intended for fast charging across a wide range of USB-C devices, from smartphones to larger laptops. The company says the cable uses USB Power Delivery, with smart power management that adjusts output to suit each connected device. Dell’s product listing also notes data transfer support of up to 480Mbps, while the cable length is listed at 4ft, or roughly 1.2m.

Durability is another central part of the design. Anker says the cable has a nylon outer layer and has been tested to survive more than 10,000 bends, which should help in daily use. It also ships with a cable adjuster, allowing users to shorten or neaten the run as needed. One important limitation is power input: for simultaneous charging, the company says a charger capable of at least 45W is required, and the first device connected is given priority when power is being shared.
