The EnerGeek GH21 uses active cooling, a graphene thermal system and a built-in display to maintain high output across three USB-C ports.
Baseus has opened pre-orders for a new 160W wall charger that is built around a different priority from most high-wattage accessories: keeping performance stable under load. According to Zoomit and Gizmochina, the EnerGeek GH21 uses GaN components in a compact body measuring 45 x 47 x 77.4mm and weighing 230g, while offering three USB-C ports and a total maximum output of 160W.
Each USB-C port can deliver up to 140W on its own, which should be enough for demanding laptops as well as phones and tablets. When more than one device is connected, the charger distributes power across the ports, but the combined output is capped at 160W. That makes it less about raw port count than about sustaining high output in a small enclosure.
The main engineering difference is its active cooling system. Baseus says the charger uses a direct-current centrifugal fan with a magnetic levitation motor running at 12,500rpm, alongside 2,584 sq mm of graphene thermal surface and software-based temperature control. The company claims this setup improves heat dissipation by 35 per cent and cuts internal temperature by 18C after 10 minutes of heavy use, stabilising operation at 66C. It also says the unit can maintain full power for up to 72 hours without thermal-related output loss.
Power management is handled by the company’s PowerTune 3.0 system, which checks port status every three seconds so plugging in or removing devices does not interrupt charging. The third USB-C port also supports Xiaomi’s 120W Hyper Charge protocol, according to Baseus. On the front, a 1.8-inch TFT colour display shows live wattage, estimated remaining time and operating temperature. Gizmochina reports that pre-orders in China are priced at 399 yuan, or about $60.
